Callodine Group (“Callodine”), an asset management platform focused on yield-oriented investment strategies across public and private markets, today announced the appointment of Todd Marsh as Chief Operating Officer of its Private Credit Platform. In this newly created role, Mr. Marsh will support the continued growth and development of Callodine’s private credit business, bringing extensive experience in operations, technology, fund finance and platform integration.
Mr. Marsh brings more than 15 years of experience in alternative credit operations and investment management, with a demonstrated track record of building and overseeing operational infrastructure across complex credit platforms. He most recently served as Managing Director, Global Head of Operations & Technology and Head of European Fund Finance at Benefit Street Partners (“BSP”), where he oversaw global operations, technology and fund finance functions supporting a diversified alternative credit platform with approximately $90 billion in assets under management. During his tenure, he led initiatives focused on integrating U.S. and European operations, strengthening governance and control frameworks, and developing scalable infrastructure to support business growth.
Mr. Marsh joined BSP in 2011 and held progressively senior leadership positions throughout his tenure. His responsibilities spanned multiple credit strategies, including private debt, structured credit, collateralized loan obligations, real estate credit and special situations. He also served on BSP’s U.S. and European Operating Committees and European Valuation Committee. Mr. Marsh received a B.S. in Economics from Union College.
“Todd brings a combination of operational leadership, deep credit industry experience and a strong understanding of the infrastructure required to support a growing investment platform,” said Jay Lyons, Chief Operating Officer at Callodine Group. “As we continue to expand our private credit capabilities, his experience building and integrating complex operating platforms will be invaluable in strengthening our infrastructure, supporting our various affiliates and positioning the business for its next phase of growth.”
“I look forward to supporting the Callodine Executive Committee as we look to integrate and scale our private credit platform across a range of strategies and investment vehicles,” said Mr. Marsh. “The firm is incredibly well positioned to capitalize on investor appetite for asset backed credit strategies and I am excited to contribute to our future growth.”
