Fisher Barton employee-owners demonstrate the power of community giving with a record $19,760 donation to local food pantries.
WATERTOWN, WI, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Fisher Barton employee-owners have once again demonstrated their commitment to supporting the communities where they live and work, contributing a record-breaking $19,760 during the second quarter of 2026 to local food pantries serving Wisconsin and Illinois communities.
The quarterly contribution represents the largest donation total since the program began three years ago. Over $86,000 has been donated to local food pantries to date, reflecting the continued generosity of Fisher Barton employees and the company’s commitment to strengthening local communities through its employee giving program.
“One of the things that makes me most proud of our employee-owners is their commitment to giving back to the communities that have supported Fisher Barton for generations,” said Scott Hoffman, CEO of Fisher Barton. “Through payroll deductions and our company match, our employees are making a real difference for families in need. Reaching our highest quarterly donation total in three years of the program is a testament to the generosity and community spirit that define our culture.”
Quarterly donations included:
• Watertown Food Pantry (Watertown, Wisconsin): $11,410
• Sun Prairie Food Pantry (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin): $3,400
• Helping Hands Pantry (Machesney Park, Illinois): $2,670 + Utilizing Meijer’s double-match donation program – increased our total donation to $3,670
• Waukesha County Food Pantry (Waukesha County, Wisconsin): $2,280
As grocery prices and household expenses continue to challenge many families, financial contributions provide food pantries with a unique advantage. Local pantries are often able to purchase food at significantly reduced costs through partnerships with food banks, distributors, and community programs, allowing donated dollars to stretch much further than traditional retail purchases.
Beyond the financial impact, Fisher Barton employees eagerly participate in presenting donation checks to the local organizations each quarter. These visits offer an opportunity to connect with pantry staff and volunteers, learn about local needs, and see firsthand how donations help support families throughout the region.
“Our teams genuinely enjoy visiting the food pantries and presenting these donations in person,” Hoffman said. “Those moments provide a powerful reminder of why this program matters. Meeting the people who work tirelessly to serve others and hearing how these funds will help local families makes the impact very real for our employee-owners.”
As an employee-owned company, Fisher Barton believes its responsibility extends beyond the workplace. The company’s values, known as the 3C’s: Customer Excellence, Culture of Fairness, and Community Involvement, are deeply embedded in its culture and guide how employees support one another, serve customers, and engage with local communities.
Community Involvement reflects Fisher Barton’s belief in the strength and power of community and the importance of giving back to the places the company calls home. The record-setting quarterly donation demonstrates how Fisher Barton employee-owners bring that value to life, helping local food pantries provide critical resources to families facing food insecurity while strengthening the communities that have supported the company for generations.
