The designation permits the company to fabricate and install those engineered surfaces. At the same time, the manufacturer’s material warranties remain in force and apply across the firm’s consultation, templating, fabrication, and installation work throughout its service area.
Manufacturer certification carries practical consequences that homeowners often encounter only after a problem arises. Engineered quartz producers extend material warranties on the condition that the surface has been fabricated and fitted by a shop registered with them, and that a claim for stone cut by an unregistered fabricator can be refused. Registration status does not usually appear on a quote because the paperwork is between the manufacturer and the shop rather than in front of the customer.
Certification is not granted on request. Each manufacturer sets requirements covering fabrication training, material handling procedures and shop registration, and the status must be maintained rather than earned once. Holding it with four separate producers means the operation spans the MSI, Cambria, HanStone, and Viatera collections, so material selection can proceed without steering customers toward whichever line is easiest to source.
For homeowners, the effect is that material selection begins with warranty status established rather than assumed. Making that visible before anything is signed seemed overdue, and the four registrations are what make it possible to state it plainly.”

Both are matters of artistry rather than material defects: a seam that opens and a sink that separates from the underside of the stone reflect how the pieces were cut and set. Fabrication takes place at the company’s shop at 1105 Hwy 293 SE, where slabs are cut, edges polished, and sink and faucet cutouts made. All cutting is wet, with no dry cutting performed on site; fabrication stations are ventilated, and fabricators wear goggles, masks, and gloves. New hires complete material handling training, and product and fabrication training continues for employees and subcontractors. A glass door separates the showroom from the production floor, allowing visitors to observe fabrication firsthand rather than seeing the stone for the first time on delivery day.
The company operates as a specialty countertop trade and does not undertake structural, electrical, or plumbing work, which falls outside its scope. Plumbing reconnection is coordinated according to the scope agreed in each quote. Under Georgia policy, specialty trade work of this kind sits outside general and residential contractor board licensing while those components remain untouched.

Those instructions vary by material: granite and marble require periodic sealing and cleaning with pH-neutral products to preserve the finish. Most projects are completed within two to three weeks, subject to material availability, project complexity, and scheduling.
