LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Propstore, one of the world’s leading entertainment memorabilia auction houses, has partnered with Aardman to present a landmark live auction on September 24, 2026. Featuring over 220 pieces spanning the studio’s 50-year history, including pieces from nearly every Aardman production, this first-of-its-kind sale will be open to bidders worldwide, with every lot starting at just $132.

Bidding opens today, September 4, as Aardman celebrates its 50th anniversary. For five decades, the award winning studio has created unforgettable characters and stories through its unmistakable style of stop-motion animation. From Morph and Chicken Run to Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, its creations have become part of childhoods around the world, inspiring affection and nostalgia across generations.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

Leading the collection are three instantly recognisable characters from the latest chapter in Aardman’s Wallace & Gromit franchise, Vengeance Most Fowl (2024). Highlights include a screen-matched Wallace stop-motion puppet, a Gromit puppet and a Feathers McGraw puppet complete with his signature red-glove disguise.

The auction will also feature a Shaun the Sheep stop-motion puppet from Directors Matthew Walker and Steve Cox’s upcoming film, Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom (2026). First introduced in Nick Park’s Academy Award-winning Wallace & Gromit short A Close Shave (1995), Shaun went on to become one of Aardman’s most beloved characters, starring in his own series and two feature films. The upcoming third film will bring him back to Mossy Bottom Farm for a new Halloween adventure launching in cinemas later this month.

Completing the announced highlights are original clay Morph and Chas stop-motion puppets made by Aardman co-founder Peter Lord. The iconic pair represent the character who began Aardman’s on-screen story and remain closely associated with the studio nearly 50 years after Morph first appeared in 1977.

The auction will conclude with a live event on September 24, 2026, with global online, absentee, and telephone bidding available to bidders worldwide.

Proceeds from the auction will be invested in talent development initiatives across Aardman, including bursaries at its world-class training facility, the Aardman Academy, skills development programmes, and opportunities for emerging filmmakers, helping to broaden access to careers in animation and nurture the next generation of creative talent.

Registration is now open, and the full catalog is available at https://propstoreauction.com/auctions/info/id/549. Those who register here will also be entered into a giveaway competition for a chance to win a Blue Teapot from Shaun the Sheep (TV Series, 2007-2025). Terms & conditions applied.
